Ferris Wheels & Chardonnay.

After a long, stressful weekend of packing, making a decision on an apartment (finally!), and preparing to move, a glass of Chardonnay has never tasted so good.

Hallelujah.

I did have some fun on Friday night. The husband and I met up with some good friends from out of town for dinner at The Yard House and a walk around the Irvine Spectrum, which ended with a ride on the Ferris Wheel and chocolate from the Rocky Mountain chocolate factory. The Ferris Wheel was a lot of fun. There’s something about bright, sparkly carnival rides that can take me up into the air that make me feel giddy and excited like a little girl, but also romantic and relaxed at the same time. Which is why I love them. And because they’re pretty.

It was a great night.

And now, I sign off so I can be of use to the world tomorrow. And maybe polish off my Chardonnay to the tune of Kim Kardashian giving her mother marriage advice that she’ll never take. Sounds like a more-than-suitable way to close the weekend to me.

Goodnight, friends.
